By tonite I will be home ...cant wait to do laundry and get my car washed. But more than that is to really find the support in LA in that I have discovered of who I am and what I want in my life.
Am excited to see what comes up and what doors open up for me. My dreams (sleeping dreams) are all about finding new places for my stuff, that I dont want them in the same place, not getting rid of everything though there was some things, but putting them in different spots. Very apropo of what I am going thru.
So am thinking of getting a cabin in Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear for a couple of weeks, maybe a month and live in the snow in the winter and then maybe take a trip in spring to the east coast traveling the cute little towns of Vermont, if I can convince a friend to do this with me. We'll see. Have learned to be open to what life flows to me, instead of trying to always control the direction of my life.
Definitely learned that the nomadic life is not for me. Like a base. So have learned a lot and now to put them in practice.
Good place to end Phase 1.

At the Spa
Well I am in Pismo Beach at the spa ready to be pampered. My room is beautiful and I have an appt for a massage tomorrow.
The beach is just steps away and my view is of the pool with a grass area for Taos.
These last few days have been trying. Started Sunday after leaving Bandon, so beautiful, and drove to Ukiah, where I slept in the car. Then at 4 in the morning drove on to Carmel, where Taos and I hung out at the beach, walked and then on to San Simeon.
I forgot about the windy road to San Simeon on Highway 1 and wasnt in the mood. Plus there were cyclists on the road, who bugged the hell out of me. Seriously who rides Highway 1 on a bicycle and lives? It was a little nerve wracking and was glad when the drive was over.
Drove over 300+ miles...EXHAUSTING!
Today, went into Cambria where I bought myself this wonderful sugar scrub, which I found with Melissa on my trip last year. These next few days are all about pampering myself.
So My Journey Phase 1 is almost complete and boy have I learned, grown, and developed such a spiritual connection to myself and God, Higher Power, The Force...and feels good to have these skills and new way of being in the world, very personal new way of being.
Listen to this big news: Donny Osmond is the new spokesperson for Protandim. Thats so cool! He has been using it for 2 years now and his own Dr. did a little study of his own when Donny took Protandim to him and confirmed some great results. Now Donny is telling everyone!

Bridges of Cottage Grove, Drive to the Coast, Bandon (Sept 16, 17)
Being open to all the twists and turns is leading me to such beauty and to the unexpected.
The covered bridges that I "toured" in Cottage Grove were not the Bridges of Madison County (Richard Kincaid, where are you?). But the tour of them, in the car, showed me a beautiful part of Cottage Cove, that is not in the tour book! Cottage Grove did not start out so good. I ran over a curb and busted my tire, luckily I was right across the street from a tire place who changed my tire (for free) and looking at the tire, the tread was low, so blessing in disguise (plus the guy filled all my other tires with air). Then I lost my keys in a park, not a big park, but freaked out nonetheless. I asked a guy to help me look for them, he was not pleased to help me, but 2 minutes later, found my keys and called him my lucky charm, so hopefully he went home feeling good.
Then the drive to the coast was breathtaking and ending up at Bandon Beach, which I totally missed on the drive up, is so awesome. I am so glad that I decided to go back down the coast. Interesting when you go the opposite way, you see all these "new" stuff!

Sept 14th/15th - NW Section of Portland and 9/15 Salem
I liked the NW section of Portland - the Nob Hill section, the more upscale section (of course I would like). Its just a different feel than the rest of Portland which I was not crazy about.
I loved Washington Park, and last nite went thru the Rose Garden and this morning took a 2 hour hike, there were all these hiking trails that overlapped and so we went on about 5 different hikes and then took the one that was 26 miles long but only did a few miles on it. Then went to the Holocaust Memorial place which was a beautiful tribute. Washington Park is 26 miles surrounding all over Portland. It was great. The hikes were in the Hoyt Arboretum..so there were all these signs of what the plant or tree was.
Some pictures
It started raining today just sprinkling and its suppose to rain harder over the next few days, so am in Salem.
My goal is to head out to California after Cottage Grove, OR and stop off at the Cliffs Resort in Pismo Beach and hang out a couple of days and get a massage or two. Then come on home and I could be home next week. Then who knows? Maybe some skiing in a few months or so? Possibilities are wide open. How fun to have the possiblities!

Touring Portland - sept 14
I'm going to tour some of the little suburbs of Portland...like Nob Hill and Pearl District and do some laundry.
I am just not getting into Portland...and everyone loves it. Go figure. I really do miss a smaller town where you can get anywhere in minutes and its all there in walking distance. I really like that.
They do have a great natural pet store here, its the best I've seen..if only they delivered.
Havent talked about Protandim, but 2 friends are now taking it. Yeah. It also got a 4th patent for "reducing inflammation and oxidative stress in mammals". Plus it was given 2 thumbs up on the Today show the other day. It is also helping with people with asthma.
Even though I wanted to give up everything that had to do with my cousin, I really am glad I did not go with my emotions and kept taking Protandim and selling it.
Have to admit I am ready for a "down" day and do nothing. But onwards I go!
