Columbia Gorge

So today I decided I would do the scenic historical highway 30 and it was magical.  Here are some pictures:

oops - this is seaside..1st day that there wasnt fog and you can see the homes along the hill

another view...pretty amazing huh?

this is Vista House - back in the day this is where they would greet the travelers ..highway 30 was designed and executed in the early 1900's for traveling

Waterfall - Latourell Falls - not only did we see waterfalls, we were taking small hikes up to them to get closer.

The drive was great and I am so glad I did it, definitely worthwhile.

The room to rent did not work out - no way was I going to "live" there - messy, it was crazy making...I wouldnt have been happy.

So next thought is to finish up with Portland, go to Salem, then Cottage Grove (6 covered bridges and I really want to see them) and then Ashland (south on the 5) and come home a few weeks early.  It is very tiring not having a home base and I dont know if I could travel without.

But I have a some more to see in Portland.  Talk about going with the flow, listening to my instincts, letting the universe be my guide, being in a relationship with God, Universe, Higher Power (whatever I want to call "it") and letting things happen organically.  But thats why I came on this journey which is to do and "be" just that.
